Change Your Password
You can easily delete or modify this page. Visit add or edit a page instructions for more details.
Once we’ve finished building your website/blog platform, we’ll give you the username and password we used to put it all together. It’s very important that you immediately change your password to protect your website from others.
Begin by logging in to your Dashboard and clicking [Users] in the upper right-hand corner. Then click on [admin] and it will bring you to a page where you can enter all sorts of details about yourself. We’ll leave all this stuff blank so you can enter your own specifics.
At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a place where you can enter (and re-enter) a new password. Pick something you’ll be able to remember and then click [Update Profile]. You might also like to create a new user with a more recognizable username – like your first name. The reason is that the platform will display the person who published each blog post.
You’ll notice that all the blog posts so far were published by “admin” – pretty generic. Create a new user and use your first name as the username and then, going forward, always log in with that ID to ensure your blog posts are all published by YOU, the person your audience would recognize.
